Position Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Manager to provide critical analytical, operational, and financial support to our management teams. This role reports to the Director of Asset Management and involves direct interaction with the executive team, property management, accounting, 3rd party consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal property performance across our national portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor operating performance of the real estate portfolio to ensure assets are performing in line with business plans and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Perform monthly financial reviews to evaluate financial performance compared to budget and original underwriting.
  • Correspond with vendors, property managers, and tenants across our portfolio to support strategic decision making within property operations.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments and consultants to prepare annual property level operating budgets.
  • Prepare quarterly asset level performance reports for senior management and investors.
  • Work closely with property management teams to monitor KPIs and implement strategies for operational improvements.
  • Review and approve capital expenditure plans and proposals.
  • Conduct market surveys and competitive analysis to inform leasing, marketing, and operational strategies.
  • Coordinate and participate in site visits for both local and out-of-state assets.
  • Organize and schedule internal and external meetings and maintain accurate records of property performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (real estate, finance, business, or related field preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Asset Management within the real estate industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling experience a plus).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Yardi Property Management Software is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed for property site visits.
