Job Description

Parallel Employment Group is actively seeking a Hydraulic Assembler for a fast-growing production company in Cheektowaga, NY . This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Position Summary:

In this role, you will assemble, test, and package a variety of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical assemblies . You’ll manage and build multiple subassemblies, maintain stock levels, and support inventory cycle counts. The position offers cross-training across several departments, giving you the opportunity to broaden your skills and grow within the company.

First shift M-F 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay rate $18-$20 an hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Package finished assemblies for shipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, tape measures, and rulers
• Work independently on multiple subassemblies at once
• Support inventory cycle counts and maintain organized stock levels
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Collaborate with other departments as part of cross-training

Requirements

• Proficient in hydraulic systems, mechanical assembly, and low-voltage wiring
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools accurately
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Basic math, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with minimal supervision required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience or training
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious
