Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Driver for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM

Pay Rate:

• $19 / hour 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator proficient in operating sit-down, reach, and stand-up forklifts. This role involves safely handling materials and using scanners for inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down, reach, and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers efficiently and safely
• Use RF scanners or handheld devices to track inventory movement and order fulfillment
• Transport and stage materials according to production or shipping schedules
• Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
• Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient work area
• Support other warehouse operations as needed, including picking and packing 

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience (sit-down, reach, and stand-up)
• Experience using scanners or smart devices for inventory control
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
